Jayda Avanzado recently shared a deeply touching post on Instagram, celebrating the surprise vow renewal of her parents, Jessa Zaragoza and Dingdong Avanzado.

On Thursday, March 19, Jayda posted a carousel of photos from the intimate ceremony, beautifully captured by photographer Gerard Cayco.

In her heartfelt message, Jayda expressed the joy and pride she felt as she took on her role during the special day. She wrote:

“Daughter of the bride (and groom) duties After almost a year of top secret planning, coordination and a lot of team work, the surprise vow renewal/wedding ceremony was a complete success!”

Jayda acknowledged the many people who contributed to making the event memorable, singling out her father for orchestrating the surprise.

“There were many moving parts and people to thank for making this possible, but major props to my Dad for pulling this off. Congrats, nakalusot ka kay Mom! (and sorry mom @jessazaragoza, but we hope you liked the surprise!)”

She also praised her father for taking the initiative to honor his and Jessa’s 25-year commitment to each other.

“This was your idea to begin with @dingdongavanzado, and I’m still in awe of your commitment to honoring the vow you made 25 years ago, and even going above and beyond to achieve that.”

Reflecting on her own experience growing up in a household filled with love, Jayda highlighted the inspiration she drew from her parents’ relationship.

“It was a blessing to witness the gathering of people who’ve all been instrumental in your journey together. And as someone who is the product of the love that we all celebrated yesterday, getting to grow up seeing you two as the perfect example of what love is all about—choosing each other everyday, no matter what, has been the privilege of my life.”

Jessa Zaragoza, born on January 31, 1979, is a Filipina singer, actress, and commercial model who rose to prominence in the late 1990s. Often referred to as the “Phenomenal Diva” and the “Jukebox Queen of the ’90s,” she gained widespread fame through her debut album Just Can’t Help Feelin’ released in 1997. The record featured the hit song Bakit Pa?, which became a major success in the Philippines from 1997 to 1999.

Recently, Jessa was completely surprised at The Atrium at Enderun in Taguig. Wearing what she thought was her performance outfit—a classic white gown—her confusion turned into joyful tears when she saw the setup and her family waiting for her. Instead of performing, she was greeted by her daughter Jayda and a full ceremony for her vow renewal with Dingdong, as shared in a viral post by Nice Print Photo.
