In a social media post, Winwyn said that while the month is dedicated to celebrating women, recognition and appreciation should extend beyond a single period each year.

“I know it’s Women’s Month, but women deserve to be celebrated everyday,” she wrote.

The actress highlighted the diverse experiences of women, pointing out that each woman carries her own story of achievements and challenges.

“For all women.. mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, and every woman just doing her best every day. We all carry different stories of success and struggles, and that alone is worth celebrating,” she said.

Winwyn also emphasized that the real issue is not women themselves but how society sometimes reacts to them with quick judgments and criticism.

“But maybe this month is also reminder that what needs to change isn’t women.. it’s how quick some people can be to comment or judge without thinking,” she added.

The actress further reflected on the kind of world that future generations will grow up in, expressing hope that children will witness greater respect for women.

“I always think about the world we’re raising our children in. Hopefully one where women are met with more respect. For all women, and for the little ones watching us.”
