Actress and comedienne Tuesday Vargas took to Facebook to address critics who belittled her for doing live-selling as a source of income.

In a lengthy and candid post, Tuesday made it clear that she is unfazed by the negativity surrounding her efforts to earn money honestly.

“WALA AKONG PAKE! Pero di naman ako galit, in fact natutuwa nga ako,” she began, setting the tone for her message.

She recalled the mixed reactions she received after previously posting that she was looking for work. While many expressed concern and support, others responded with mockery, calling her “laos,” questioning her talent, and blaming her for her career slowdown.

“Nauunawaan ko po kayong lahat. Hindi naman din ako nag harbor ng ill feelings sa inyo kasi hindi nyo naman din po alam ang buong kwento ko kaya ipagpapa sa Dyos ko na lang ang inyong mga masakit na nasabi sa akin,” she wrote.

Tuesday shared that instead of letting pride get in the way, she chose to seek opportunities with dignity. She stressed that she was not asking for handouts but simply for projects where she could use her skills to generate income.

“Uunahin ko pa ba ang pride at ego bago ang maayos na hanapbuhay? I asked nicely and with dignity. I was not looking for a handout, but instead an opportunity to use my skills that will produce income,” she explained.

Quoting Rumi, she reflected on the ego as a barrier between humans and the Divine, saying she believes God is teaching her something in this season of her life. She added that she continues to hold on to her faith and work harder each day.
