Veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez has spoken up after false reports about his supposed passing circulated online, reassuring fans that he is alive and in good condition.
On Facebook, his daughter Ruffa Gutierrez shared a recent video of the seasoned actor addressing the rumors himself. In the clip, Eddie calmly dismissed the claims and said fake news has become common nowadays.

“Alam n’yo, usong-uso ang fake news ngayon, na ako’y sumakabilang buhay na.
“Hindi po totoo ‘yon. Buhay na buhay po ako. I’m still alive and kicking. Hindi pa ako namamatay. Binigyan pa ako ng Panginoon ng mga ilang taon.”
