Kapamilya actor Donny Pangilinan has expressed his grief over the passing of his aunt, Donna Pangilinan-Simpao, who died on January 5 at the age of 55, sharing a heartfelt tribute on social media.

On his Instagram Stories, Donny posted a photo of himself embracing Donna, capturing a tender moment between the actor and his late aunt.

In the on-screen caption, he wrote, “miss you dearly tita,” accompanied by a heart and a dove emoji, and tagged Donna’s Instagram account, allowing fans to pay their respects alongside him.

Among those reportedly moved was the Kapamilya actor, who was so affected that he immediately reached out to Vice after the episode aired. According to Vice, Donny was deeply touched by the vendors’ story and generously donated Php 300,000 to support them, earning admiration from fans for his kindness and quick response.
