Ogie Diaz, in a recent post on his official Facebook page, addressed a circulating social media post that falsely attributed him as the source of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2025 box office rankings. The post, which quickly gained traction online, claimed to reveal the top-grossing MMFF films, misleading audiences into believing Ogie had publicly released the figures.

The veteran entertainment reporter and talent manager was quick to clarify that the information was entirely false. In his statement, he emphasized that he never shared such data on his YouTube channel or any of his fan pages. He wrote:
“FAKE NEWS PO ITO!” Ogie began, labeling the post as fake.
“Lilinawin ko lang po: WALA PO AKONG SINABING GANITO SA AKING YOUTUBE CHANNEL AT MAGING SA AKING FANPAGES,” he continued, stressing that he never provided any box office figures online.
