Ruffa Gutierrez shares update on dad Eddie Gutierrez after his spine procedure

Ruffa Gutierrez took to social media to give an update on the health condition of her father, veteran actor Eddie Gutierrez. The actress shared photos and clips of herself with her dad, as well as her mother Annabelle Rama and brother Raymond Gutierrez, during their stay at a hospital in Singapore.

According to Ruffa, she flew to Singapore to accompany her father for medical treatment, but she and her mother also ended up having their own checkups.

In her post, Ruffa shared that Eddie is showing signs of improvement after undergoing a spine procedure, and the antibiotics he is taking are helping his recovery.

Ruffa said they are still waiting for more test results from Eddie’s urologist, Dr. Sam Peh. She asked the public to continue praying for her father’s full healing so their family can be complete in Manila this Christmas.

The actress ended her update with a reminder that health is wealth. She encouraged everyone to take care of their well-being and to cherish time with their parents, saying it is now the children’s turn to care for them.

“Flew to Singapore to accompany Dad and ended up getting my own checkups too. As a matter of fact, Mom and I are now Dr. Prem Pillay’s new patients as well!

“To everyone who has sent comforting messages and included Dad in your prayers, a heartfelt thank you! Dad is already showing signs of improvement after yesterday’s spine procedure, and the antibiotics are helping. Thank You, Lord!

“As we await for more test results from his urologist, Dr. Sam Peh, please continue to pray for Dad’s complete healing so we can all be together in Manila for Christmas.

Ruffa Gutierrez is a Filipina actress, model, TV host, and former beauty queen. She is the eldest and only daughter of Eddie Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama. In 1993, she won Binibining Pilipinas World and later became Second Runner-Up at Miss World in South Africa. Ruffa has two daughters, Lorin and Venice, with her former husband Yilmaz Bektas. She also continued her studies at Philippine Women’s University and finished a degree in Communication Arts in 2022, inspiring many women to keep chasing their goals.

She described her mom as strong, honest, and full of love, calling her the one who keeps their family together.
