In the video, Benedict is seen going to both the grocery and the market to find the most affordable ingredients. He decided to make three simple dishes for his Noche Buena menu: spaghetti, fried chicken, and fruit salad. After buying his ingredients, he went home to cook everything and check if the food would be enough for a small family.
When he finished the challenge, Benedict said that while it was possible to prepare Noche Buena for ₱500, it did not feel enough for a special celebration. He explained that Christmas is something families look forward to all year, and most parents want to prepare more food to make their loved ones happy.
“Posible. Kahit ano naman posible, pero parang hindi siya enough. Ang tagal mong hinintay ’yung Pasko, parang gusto mong mas maghanda ng madami para sa anak mo, asawa mo, buong pamilya mo.
