DJ Chacha is a Filipina radio personality, broadcast journalist, and author. She first rose to prominence on MOR 101.9 under ABS-CBN, where she built a strong following through programs like Dear MOR. She later appeared on television, including a stint on Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky Season 7. After ABS-CBN’s shutdown in 2020, she continued her radio career on TV5’s 105.9 True FM. DJ Chacha is also the author of advice books such as Napakasakit, Ate Chacha. She is married to Michael Guevara and is a mother of three.
DJ Chacha recently urged local government units (LGUs) to focus on distributing emergency “Go Bags” in light of the recent earthquakes, instead of allocating funds for political promotions. She stressed the need for disaster readiness and pointed to Pasig City—which has been running a similar initiative since 2022—as a model. The radio host also reminded officials to provide assistance fairly and without favoritism, calling out the politicization of public service and warning against those who might exploit government programs for personal gain.
Earlier, DJ Chacha drew attention online when she shared a weekend reflection that many linked to ongoing concerns about corruption and inequality. Her message struck a chord as public frustration grew over how the families of politicians and government contractors are able to enjoy overseas trips and luxurious lifestyles while ordinary workers continue to face daily financial hardship.
