On Wednesday, October 16, Ice posted a photo of his parents’ final resting place, along with a touching note reflecting on his visit and the special timing of the day.
“I’ve been wanting to visit mama and daddy but I’ve been really busy these past few weeks. I was scheduled to shoot for the documentary we’re doing and our director, Tey, asked if nakavisit na ba ako kina mama. So nagpunta kami. Spent some time there, and umuwi na rin ako pagkatapos,” Ice wrote.
He went on to share that his visit coincided with what would have been his parents’ 49th wedding anniversary—a realization that came only after his brother reached out to him.

“My brother Juan-c messaged me na he saw na nag visit ako and he reminded me na wedding anniversary nila mama and daddy today, Oct. 16. 49 years na mula nung kinasal sila,” he said.
Ice expressed gratitude for being able to spend time at the cemetery on such a meaningful date, even if it wasn’t planned.
“Hindi man yun ang rason nang pagdalaw ko, masaya ako na nandoon ako sa espesyal na araw na ito,” he continued. “I really believe that our loved ones will always find ways to make us feel loved. Through things, songs, people.”
