In an interview with DJ Chacha, Julia shared that while she didn’t directly talk to the woman, she made sure her feelings were clearly understood. “Hindi ko siya kinausap pero pinaramdam ko sa kanya. Kasi wala ng point para kausapin ko pa siya,” Julia said, explaining that she prefers to show her true emotions rather than pretend to be nice.
The FPJ’s Batang Quiapo star said she is a naturally warm person, but also firm about her boundaries when she feels someone has crossed the line. “Super warm ako, alam mo kapag okay ako sa’yo at tsaka hindi. So hindi rin ako plastic, hindi ako showbiz. Kapag hindi ako sayo, hindi kita papansinin,” she admitted.
Julia went on to recall the awkward encounter, saying the woman greeted her with “Hi po,” even though they were of the same age and batch in the industry. “Sabi ko, excuse me? Maka ‘po’ ka naman…” Julia said, adding that the woman’s actions had already gone too far. “Kasi sobra rin naman siya kumbaga sa strike three, sobra sobra din naman,” she noted.

Julia and Coco confirmed in 2023 that they are a couple after years of speculation about their relationship.
Julia Montes is a famous Filipino actress best known for portraying the role of Clara Del Valle in the remake of the ABS-CBN TV series Mara Clara. In May 2023, Julia and Coco Martin finally admitted they are indeed a couple after years of avoiding the topic.
In the same interview with Karen Davila, Julia said that the strength of her relationship with Coco Martin stems from their shared values, especially their mutual dedication to family and their grandmothers. The actress described Martin as her “knight in shining armor” and “compass” during a personally challenging period, stating he provided essential support when she felt lost and prayed for someone to care for her. She shared that Coco’s unexpected arrival and consistent support were an answer to her prayers, even though she didn't initially realize she was praying for a partner. The interview offers a rare look into the famously private relationship of Julia and Coco, whose 12-year partnership was publicly confirmed by Martin in May 2023.
The actress also shared with Karen Davila that she panicked when Coco Martin first showed interest in her, which caused their early romance to falter. Coco got hurt by Julia’s initial reactions as she often tried to bluff him. Their relationship developed later when they worked together again on another project. The actress described Coco as sweet and thoughtful, even surprising her with a pet dog after she complimented other dogs they saw.
