Actor Aljur Abrenica has broken his silence following Jeric Raval’s statement that his daughter, AJ Raval, has two children with Aljur.

In an interview with Anna Cerezo of ABS-CBN News, Aljur responded calmly, expressing deep respect for Jeric and understanding where the veteran actor was coming from. “Si father Jeric, tatay yan e. He always says what is good for everyone. Tama lang naman yun… Malaki ang respeto ko sa kanya,” Aljur said, adding that fathers often see things others don’t.

However, Aljur shared that he is not yet ready to speak publicly about the issue, saying, “Para sa akin, for now, pasensya na… I cannot talk about it personally because I am not yet comfortable.” Despite this, he expressed contentment in his relationship with AJ Raval, describing it as imperfect but meaningful. “Wala naman perpekto. That’s what I love about it… what I am proud of and happy about it is, walang bumitaw,” he said.

Before his relationship with AJ, Aljur was married to actress Kylie Padilla, with whom he has two sons, Alas Joaquin and Axl Romeo. The former couple tied the knot in 2018 but separated in 2021, citing personal differences while maintaining co-parenting arrangements for their children.

The revelation from Jeric Raval reignited long-standing speculations that AJ and Aljur share children together, rumors both previously denied amid reports by showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin.
