Chinese actor and singer Yu Menglong, also known as Alan Yu, has passed away at the age of 37 after falling from a building in Beijing. On Thursday, September 11, his official studio confirmed the news through a statement released on Weibo.

“We are deeply saddened to inform everyone that our beloved Menglong passed away after a fall on Thursday. According to the police investigation, criminality has been ruled out. May the deceased rest in peace, and may the living remain strong,” Yu Menglong Studio wrote.
Yu Menglong rose to fame through his breakout role in the hit web drama Go Princess Go (2015) and later starred in several popular series such as Eternal Love and The Legend of White Snake. Aside from acting, he was also a singer, releasing singles and participating in various variety shows.
Born in Xinjiang, China, Yu was admired for his versatility and charm, earning a loyal fanbase both in China and abroad. His untimely passing has left colleagues and fans grieving the loss of a talented artist whose career was still thriving.
