This is about openness, making sure decisions, budgets, projects, and actions by those in power are visible to the public. When there’s transparency:
• Corruption is harder to hide.
• Citizens are empowered to ask questions.
• Trust in government grows.
In simple terms: if the public can see what’s happening, it’s harder for bad things to be done in the dark.”

He followed this by stressing the need for accountability, noting that leaders should face real consequences when they commit wrongdoing. Matteo highlighted that it is not enough to simply identify corruption—authorities must ensure that justice is served.

“Accountability

Finally, Matteo underscored the value of integrity, pointing out that true reform goes beyond laws and systems. He encouraged both leaders and citizens to act with honesty and moral courage, even when no one is watching.

“Integrity

Matteo ended his post by inviting his followers to share their own recommendations for building better systems and strengthening the nation’s culture against corruption.
