Actress Cristine Reyes has confirmed that she and Marco Gumabao have ended their relationship. In a report by ABS-CBN News, during an interview in Pasay City on Friday, Cristine revealed she has since found happiness with a non-showbiz personality. “Nakakatanggal din ng blemish ’yan and wrinkles. Yes, I am happy now,” she said, adding that she prefers to keep her current relationship “mas private.”

Cristine stressed that her breakup with Gumabao was amicable and that they continue to be on good terms, adding that they prefer not to share too much details on their split. “Sa amin na lang iyon, respect na namin sa isa’t isa. But we are super okay,” she explained.

In a clip shared by MJ Marfori on News5Everywhere, the actress also shared that choosing to be more private with her love life has made her feel calmer. Asked if she would completely avoid dating fellow celebrities, Cristine said that romance is never something that can be planned.
