Actress and singer Nadine Lustre has added her voice to the growing public frustration over the handling of flood control projects and alleged corruption, sharing her candid thoughts in an interview with MJ Marfori on News5.

“Obviously, people are going to react kasi with everything that’s been going on, the typhoons, the flood, and everything, people are not seeing improvements. So mali talaga,” Nadine said, noting that despite years of promises, communities continue to suffer the same fate after every storm.
She expressed deep sadness over the situation, pointing to the struggles of ordinary Filipinos: “I’m really sad seeing people struggling, going through all of these like losing their homes, their pets, their livelihood just because we cannot find a solution to it.”
Nadine also did not mince words when it came to accountability: “Syempre nakakagalit at nakakalungkot na makita na yung binabayad na buwis sa ganun lang napupunta. Nakaka-inis talaga.”
Her comments reflect the sentiments of many citizens online who have been demanding transparency and accountability.

Nadine Lustre is a multifaceted Filipino star known for her work as an actress and singer. Born Nadine Alexis Paguia Lustre on October 31, 1993, she began her career in entertainment at an early age.
