In a recent interview with ABS-CBN News' Ganiel Krishnan, actor Elijah Canlas shed light on his relationship with his former girlfriend, Miles Ocampo, amid swirling rumors of a possible reconciliation.

Elijah and Miles made headlines last November when they announced their breakup after two years of being together. However, in recent months, the pair has been spotted spending time together again, sparking speculation about the status of their relationship.

While Elijah did not outright confirm whether they have rekindled their romance, he offered insights into their current dynamic. "We're doing good. We're very happy. Of course, of course. We're taking it easy," Elijah shared during the interview.

The actor emphasized that they are taking things slow and avoiding putting pressure on themselves. "Well, right now we’re just enjoying what we have. We’re taking things easy lang para walang pressure," he explained.

He also highlighted that their focus is primarily on their respective careers. "We’re just taking our time. Doon lang kami sa focusing on our work. S'yempre, marami rin siyang work, marami rin akong work. Of course, the love and care for each other will always be there," he added.

As reported days ago by Inquirer, Elijah was present at the birthday salubong prepared for Miles.

In an interview with News 5 as reported by Inquirer, Miles confirmed that she and Elijah were working on rekindling their relationship.

Miles Ocampo is a Filipino actress and commercial model. She is a former mainstay in the now-defunct Kapamilya children's gag show "Goin' Bulilit." Previously, she was under Star Magic from 2004 to 2022. Miles is currently under Crown Artist Management, a talent agency founded by Maja Salvador. She was also one of the hosts of the longest-running noontime show "Eat Bulaga."

In another report, Miles Ocampo received tons of birthday greetings. Alora Sasam is among those who took to social media to greet the birthday celebrant. On her Facebook account, Alora shared a set of heartwarming photos featuring her and Miles. The said snapshots were captured during the “Eat Bulaga” host’s birthday celebration. Along with the photos, Alora penned a heartfelt message to her dear friend.

Last November, Elijah revealed that he and Miles had already parted ways. “We ran into a rough patch recently mainly because we’re going through our own personal stuff. On the other hand, the actor underscored that he will always support Miles despite their breakup.
