Aside from the traditional Christmas lunch at home, Pia made sure to visit her daughter, Saab Magalona, in the hospital on Christmas day. Her visit to the hospital shows the true meaning of Christmas, as she shared time, effort, and love with her daughter during her ordeal.

Saab was hospitalized due to something triggering her ”rare congenital condition" called Meckel's Diverticulum, which causes internal bleeding. Saab has to undergo surgery for her illness.

Saab Magalona is a Filipina actress, singer, and blogger. Her parents are late hip-hop icon Francis Magalona and Pia Magalona. The social media star is married to Jim Bacarro. They have two children – Pancho and Vito. Saab's eldest, Pancho, has cerebral palsy. The celebrity mom's journey with his child has inspired a lot of parents, especially those with children who have disabilities. Saab is also the sister of actors Maxene and Elmo Magalona.

As previously reported by KAMI, Saab Magalona and her husband are indeed selfless parents in the actress's latest post. On Sunday, July 16, Saab posted photos she took at the airport, moments before they canceled their trip. According to Saab, they were about to go on a "romantic getaway" when one text from home prompted them to go back immediately.
