Last September, her sister Elena Solla Malyn shared on Facebook that Angel got hospitalized after suffering an aneurysm.
Then days ago, RAP Production, which was managing Angel‘s career, announced on Facebook that the actress passed away.

Angel Locsin is one of the most iconic actresses of this generation. She played main roles in various TV series like "Darna," "The Legal Wife," and "Mulawin." The actress is a former GF of Kapamilya host Luis Manzano. When they parted ways, Angel got into a relationship with film producer Neil Arce.
In a previous report by KAMI, Angel Locsin happily greeted her husband, Neil Arce, on the occasion of their first wedding anniversary. The couple tied the knot in a solemn civil wedding anniversary officiated by Mayor Lino Cayetano at the Taguig City Hall. The only celebrity in attendance who acted as a witness to the wedding was one of Angel’s closest friends, Dimples Romana, who came with her husband Boyet. In her anniversary greeting, Angel called Neil her heart and soul.
Earlier, the actress also posted some "kilig" photos of herself and her husband, Neil Arce. She posted them on her Instagram feed, gaining sweet comments from her followers.
