Lolit Solis speculates on why big stars’ endorsement of politicians failed

Lolit Solis shared her thoughts on why she thinks the big celebrities’ endorsement of certain politicians failed after the latter lost to their rivals in the election.

According to Lolit, some of those huge stars went overboard in endorsing their chosen candidates and showed a holier-than-thou attitude.

The showbiz reporter also believes that celebrities constantly bashing and criticizing the past mistakes of rival politicians turned off many voters.

She added that some of those stars should have shown more respect for rival politicians and their supporters instead of condemning them.

“Kahit ano pa sabihin Salve, bawas ningning para sa mga stars na sobra nag OA sa kanilang endorsement ng kanilang kandidato ang pagkatalo ng kanilang pinili.

“Ok lang kasi na ito ang gusto mo suportahan, pero sana hindi na sika nag over acting na akala mo tapis na agad ang laban, na dahil sa kanila, panalo na ang pinili nila. Now tignan mo, ipinakita ng tao na hindi ganuon kalaki ang tiwala nila sa mga artista, malalaking stars pa pero natalo din. Kasi nga meron sa halip na makadagdag boto, nakabawas pa dahil antipatika.

“Ayaw ng tao iyon mga parang holier than you, mas marunong sa iyo attitude. Mas gusto nila iyon iginagalang ang choice nila, at hindi na rin ito panahon ng paulit ulit na pagsumbat sa naging kasalanan ng isang kandidato.

“Mas gusto na ngayon ng tao iyon plataporma lang ang pinag uusapan hindi iyon naging kasalanan ng bawat isa. Masakit na kasi sa tenga iyon maririnig mong magnanakaw, mamamatay tao, mga bintang na hindi matapos tapos. Moving on na ang gusto ng lahat, ipakita na ang puwede gawin, bigyan ng chance ang gusto magbago. Huwag ng judgemental, dapat lahat open slate. New beginning, a better country for us. Bongga,” Lolit wrote.
