Pia is in South Africa to help the country choose its next representative for the upcoming Miss Universe pageant.
She then decided, along with other ladies, to go on a coastal cruise at Cape Town and snap some beautiful, dreamy photos.
What the group did not expect was the roughness of the sea, which somehow turned their dreamy photo shoot into a suspense thriller.

As the boat cruised along the seas, it encountered huge waves that made it sway violently from side to side, threatening to throw the beauties into the rough waters below.
Pia was seen holding on for dear life as the boat continued to lurch forward, with one of her female companions later dropping on the deck beside her to avoid getting thrown off the boat.
Apparently, the cruise later docked safely with no reported injuries on board.
The former Ms. Universe even had a good laugh about the experience.
“Ladies, let’s cruise…away from here. Perfect day ender to sail into the sunset. My favorite is the last clip of us girls battling with the wind & waves, and having a laugh about it! @official_misssa,” Pia wrote in the description box of her video upload.
Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, more popularly known as Pia Wurtzbach or Pia Romero, is a Filipino-German actress, model, and Miss Universe 2015 titleholder. She is one of the four Filipinas to earn the title.
The former Ms. Universe is one of those beauty queens who were watched the Miss Universe Philippines 2021. As she watched, Pia also actively posted her thoughts about the candidates, as well as about the entire event, on her Twitter account. One of the candidates that she talked about was Kisses Delavin who successfully entered the top 10. In addition, the comment of the Miss Universe 2015 about Kisses also gained numerous reactions from Twitter users.
Recently, she took to Instagram and thanked everyone who sent her cakes on her birthday. It was a bit overwhelming because she has so many birthday cakes, with lots of flavors that she could choose from. Due to the number of cakes she received, Queen P said in her post that she does not know where to start. A cursory look at the cakes would denote that Pia has so many cake options as she has chocolate, fruit-flavored cakes, mousse and a whole lot more.
