Heart Evangelista claps back at basher who questioned her shoes during the ‘Kasanggayahan Festival’

Kapuso star Heart Evangelista recently celebrated Sorsogon’s ‘Kasanggayahan Festival’ together with her husband and the governor of Sorsogon, Chiz Escudero.

During the festival, Heart performed the ‘Pantomina Sa Tinampo’ together with Chiz and 7,127 dancers which led them to bag a Guinness World Book record.

Heart also posted photos of their performance on the event, congratulating both her husband and the Sorsoganons in her post, “We did it! Congratulations to us 7,127 Sorsoganons for breaking the Guinness World Record for largest Filipino folk dance!

“My dear @escuderochiz, I am so proud of you for planning and conceptualizing this whole thing for your province. It wouldn’t have been such a success without you. ❤ #SorsogonFirst #MahalKongSorsogon #Kasanggayahan2019 #PantominaSaTinampo2019.”

However, KAMI learned that one of Heart’s posts was criticized by a netizen who pointed out the actress’s chosen pair of shoes during the performance, “You look funny in your gucci or channel sandals you should have worn an abaca slippers which bicol region is known for.”

The said comment then prompted Heart to reply, “Huh? I wasn’t wearing Gucci dear. I was wearing abaca sandals from @aishefootwear. Check muna kasiiiiiii.”

Heart’s reply elicited various reactions and comments from netizens as well.

"Ayan kasi di muna tingnan ng maigi!!! Bawal judgemental."

"@iamhearte it means everything you wear you make it look expensive."

"She looks cute with those sandals. Does it matter if shes wearing local brand or not? Dont think so."

As reported earlier by KAMI, Chiz Escudero’s 50th grand birthday celebration was prepared by his wife, Heart Evangelista. For his birthday, Heart transformed into Audrey Hepburn to match the 1950’s theme of Chiz’s birthday party. The couple’s friends, both in politics and in the showbiz industry, were present at the celebration as well.

Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero tied the knot on February 15, 2015. The actress got pregnant last year with a set of twins. Unfortunately, the Kapuso star lost both of her babies due to miscarriage. As for Chiz, he has two children already with his ex-wife Christine Elizabeth Flores.
