Marjorie responds to Gretchen’s accusation that their dad died because of her

Marjorie Barretto straightforwardly responded to the serious accusation of Gretchen Barretto that she was the reason why their father passed away.
KAMI learned that their dad Miguel Barretto died on Tuesday, October 15, at the age of 82. The sad news was announced by Claudine Barretto on social media.
Just recently, the former “Princess and I” antagonist revealed that her younger sister did not invite their mom to the birthday party of their father.
This, according to Gretchen, allegedly caused the heart attack of the 82-year-old gentleman.
“Marjorie did not invite my mom to the gathering, and that’s what caused my dad’s attack,” she wrote.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Marjorie decided to address the heavy and serious accusation of her older siblings.
She reasoned out that her dad told them that Inday Barretto was ill during the celebration that was why she was not around at the party.
She also slammed Gretchen for making her look like a bad daughter when in fact, it was her who always finds time to be with their parents.
“Bakit ko kasalanan? It goes to show that Gretchen does not care about the family at all. My father died of acute respiratory failure. He did not have a heart attack… Dapat alam din ni Claudine ‘to but obviously, hindi.
“Ito si Gretchen, stop diverting! My mom is always invited. Why wouldn’t she be invited… My dad claimed to us that my mother was ill that day that’s why she was not able to join us.
“Now, when we talk about her painting me as a bad daughter, I will put my foot down. I am a good daughter… Speaking of not inviting your mother to you house, Gretchen, for more than 25 years, has never invited my parents to her house…” Marjorie quipped.

Marjorie Barretto, or Marjorie Bernandine Barretto in real life, is an actress and a former politician in the Philippines. She was elected as the representative of Caloocan City from 2007 to 2013.
