Joey de Leon turned 73 on October 14, 2019. KAMI learned that he celebrated his 73rd birthday out of the country with his wife Eileen Macapagal de Leon and their daughter Jocas de Leon.
One of the places he went to is a house in Ephesus, Turkey, which supposedly used to be the house of Mama Mary, Jesus’ mother.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! So very happy I just came from Mama Mary’s house in Ephesus,” Joey wrote on Instagram.
In a previous report by KAMI, Joey explained the origin of the title of his iconic show “Eat Bulaga.”
Joey de Leon is one of the pioneer hosts of “Eat Bulaga,” the longest-running noontime variety show in the Philippines. He has two children with his first wife Daria Ramirez – Keempee de Leon and Jacinda Myrtle. The Kapuso star has three with current wife Eileen Macapagal – Jocas Eightria, Jako Raphaelle and Jio Sebastiean.
