President Rodrigo Duterte was criticized on social media by Russians and a Czech journalist for his supposed “unkempt look” during his meeting with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow on Wednesday.
The foreign journalist who criticized Duterte was Pavel Vondra, who also showed screenshots of the criticisms online from Russian netizens.

“Rodrigo Duterte showed up a bit unkempt for the meeting with the Russian PM Medvedev in Moscow and the Russian internet is having a blast: ‘Did he drink all night?’, ‘Did he just leave the pub?’, ‘Do Filipinos know what a (state visit) protocol is?’ people ask. #DuterteInRussia,” the foreign journalist tweeted.

Rodrigo Duterte is the 16th and current President of the Philippines. He won the 2016 Presidential Election, garnering over 16 million votes. Duterte defeated Mar Roxas, Grace Poe, and Jejomar Binay in the said election.
