Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes’ second child Sixto “Ziggy” Dantes was welcomed to the Christian world during the weekend.
KAMI learned that baby Ziggy got baptized in the Catholic Church.
The special event took place at the St. Alphonsus Mary de Liguori Parish in Makati. Both Marian and Dingdong were present at the baptism, along with their firstborn Zia.
Kuya Kim Atienza attended the special event, as he welcomed Sixto to the Christian world.
“May the Lord continue to shine His face on you baby Sixto! Welcome to the Christian world,” Kim wrote.
TV commercial director Sid Maderazo was chosen to be one of Ziggy’s godparents:
“Hello Sixto, I have been chosen by your parents to be your godparent, and to be one of your back up Dads. I’ll be here to guide and help you, and to be a good example.
“Congratulations on your Baptism. This particular day marks the start of your spiritual journey. May it bring lasting peace and joy to your life,” Sid wrote on Instagram.
Based on one of the photos uploaded by Sid, Kapamilya actor Richard Gutierrez also attended the solemn event.

Marian Rivera tied the knot with actor Dingdong Dantes on December 30, 2014. The actress gave birth to her daughter Zia Dantes on November 23, 2015. She gave birth to her son Jose Sixto on April 16, 2019 after 10 hours of labor.
