Rita Avila had a heated argument with some netizens after calling out a social media user who claimed to be her 'BFF.'
KAMI learned that the actress saw a photo posted by a netizen with a caption that stated they are good friends.
Rita corrected the netizen and told her that they only just met.

The actress also wrote a post which is addressed to the netizen who lied about being friends with her. Rita said:
Why do you have to lie to people?
Di maganda yan. Nagpakuha ka ng picture, nagmagandang loob ako tapos pagsasabi mo BFF mo ako? Niloloko mo lahat ng makakakita ng picture mo.

Because of this, netizens slammed the celebrity, with most of them telling her that it's not such a big deal.
