Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez is now making rounds on social media after she reenacted a famous scene in the iconic movie entitled “Darna.”
KAMI learned that the search is still on for the next artist who will portray the superhero character, following Liza Soberano’s decision to withdraw from it.
The netizens are already suggesting the names of Nadine Lustre, Pia Wurtzbach, and Jessy Mendiola as replacement but the final decision is still not made.
There were even comments in the online world stating that the producers and directors of the film must also consider GMA-7 artists such as Sanya.
In a viral video that was uploaded recently, the said actress was seen and heard shouting the iconic line of the Pinay superhero.
The short footage immediately circulated on social media and it even drew various reactions from some Twitter users.

Some agreed that Sanya is fit for the role but others pointed out that the movie already belongs to ABS-CBN. Here are their comments:
