Famous band vocalist Chito Miranda bravely aired strong words against some millennials who are very sensitive especially when it comes to lyrics of songs.

KAMI learned that his frank and controversial statements were made during his gig in Makati City where he performed the classic hit entitled “Silvertoes.”

The claims of Chito drew inspiration from the lyrics of the aforementioned song which are about a woman who “acts oppositely” to how she truly looks.

“Sorry, pagpasensyahan mo na / Mali talaga ang iyong inaakala / Lahat kami ay nandidiri sa iyo / Ikaskas mo na sana ang mukha mo sa semento,” the lyrics stated.

After performing the hit song, the vocalist called the attention of the people who were born in the ‘90s as he expressed that they are very different from the millennials.

He even bragged about the time when his band released the classic hit because “no one” got offended by its message.

“Nothing against the millennials pero sometimes ‘yung mga millennials, masyadong sensitive,” he quipped.

“Pare, noong nilabas namin ‘yung kanta na ‘yan, walang na-offend. Alam niyo kung bakit? Tayong mga batang ‘90s, we don’t get offended by songs,” he added.

“Can you imagine kung ngayon namin nilabas ‘yan? Yari kami sa Twitter! Iba ang away ngayon, pare,” he stressed.

“Kung na-offend kayo, sorry. Pero sa mga batang ‘90s, pare, alam nating matitibay mga dibdib natin,” he concluded.
