Korina Sanchez responds to bashers who say she’s too old to be a 1st time mom

Korina Sanchez was a special guest on the ABS-CBN talk show “Magandang Buhay.”
KAMI learned that Korina opened up about being a first-time mother during her interview on the program.
The famous newscaster addressed the criticism that she is too old at the age of 54 to be a first-time mommy to her twins, Pepe and Pilar.
"To say that it is a handicap that I'm in my 50s—and [if] this age is a handicap, parang tinitignan mo yung baso ng half-empty instead of half full.
"I think [what is important] is the quality of time we give them.
"Kaya alam mo bago ito, todo pa-check up ako. Even long before that talagang yung fitness and yung health [ko] chineck ko lahat yan, ibig kong sabihin, handa ako…
“God willing, we will live very long for these children. Baka maging 120 years old kami para sa mga batang ito,” she explained.
KAMI previously reported that Korina expressed her wish for Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo to be her kids’ godparents.
Korina Sanchez is considered to be one of the most well-known newscasters in the country. On October 27, 2009, she got married to former senator Mar Roxas. Through surrogacy in the US, she finally had her first babies – the twins Pepe and Pilar.
