Jim Paredes’ video scandal has rocked the entire nation, with countless netizens commenting about the controversy.
KAMI learned that several celebrities have also expressed their thoughts on the issue.
One of them is Arnell Ignacio, a known supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte. The comedian made fun of Jim’s video, stating that he lost his appetite when he watched the clip. Jim is a known critic of the President.
“Maraming-maraming salamat sa’yo, Jim. Alam mo kasi nagda-diet ako, tumataba ako eh. Pero nung pagkatapos kitang panoorin, palagay ko matagal-tagal bago ako magkaroon ng gana kumain ulit at maglo-lose ako ng weight.
“Ano ba yan kasi, Jim. Alam mo sabi mo bastos si Presidente, eh pag pinagtabi kayo ngayon ni President anong gagawin niya sayo?” Arnell said.
Actor and musician Juan Miguel Severo also opened up about the issue, saying that the video should not have been a big deal in the first place.
Veteran actor Nor Domingo also called out the Duterte supporters who bashed Jim for his video scandal but did not care when the President admitted to molesting a maid when he was younger.
“Did Jim Paredes violate anyone? Yet, he is being crucified.
“Our president confesses he molests their maid and then goes to the bathroom for the ‘usual’ twice, and we laugh. What is wrong with us?” Nor asked.
Veteran singer Leah Navarro also gave a warning to those who leaked and spread the video of her friend.
“Laughing at my friend Jim Paredes and his predicament doesn’t make you, video thieves and sharers, any better than him.
“The lengths you went through to reveal his private data are CRIMINAL and you should be charged. “You violated his privacy. Karma boomerangs big time.
“yup karma hits you when you least expect it. that is why we are sitting back & relaxing here waiting for it to hit you,” she tweeted.

Jim Paredes is one of the members of the iconic OPM group, APO Hiking Society. Aside from being a musician, he is also known as a fierce critic of President Rodrigo Duterte.
