Condominium residents get water from swimming pool due to water crisis

- The water crisis in Metro Manila has left many residential and business establishments without a water supply

- Some residents of a condominium have started getting their water from the condo's swimming pools

- Many are lining up as they lack water to use for their daily needs like bath, washing dishes etc.

Facebook user Ace Lance has posted images of people lining up to draw water from the swimming pool due to the water shortage in Metro Manila.

KAMI learned that there was no water and the most feasible or practical source is the pool.

Each person who lined up waiting for their turn to derive some water brought their own containers.

Some had water gallons while others made use of coolers.

The line was very long but residents didn't mind for as long as they could get their own supply of water.

Guards also helped the residents by providing trolleys so that they could easily transport the water containers.

In a previous KAMI report, the DOJ stated that consumers could file a suit against Manila Water unless the latter would prove that they were not negligent.
