A Facebook user named Rhea Sangalang Cruz shared her victory over a case filed against the father of her child. The netizens shared some of the few excuses the father gave just to avoid his responsibilities to their child.
The mother pointed out that the accused father was a Captain Waiter/Branch Supervisor at Johhny Kuhukus Hawaiian Resorts World Manila.
According to Rhea, she did not reveal any of those excuses during their court hearing. He even tried to defend himself with fabricated stories but the truth simply prevailed.
Rhea also reminded all the fathers and fathers-to-be to be responsible to their children.

This post is just among the many cases of women and child suffering from economic abuse. Based on her post, Benjos was found guilty of violating section 5, paragraph (e) 2 of Republic Act No. 9262 which consist of Depriving or threatening to deprive the woman or her children of financial support legally due her or her family, or deliberately providing the woman's children insufficient financial support.
Meanwhile, a lot of women who were going to the same situation shared her post. It gained 3.9K3.9K reactions, 4.4K comments and 9.5K shares as of this writing.
