Ice Seguerra and his wife Liza Diño cannot have a baby through the normal process so they need to undergo In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) to have one.

However, the total cost of undergoing IVF and then getting a sperm donor abroad is enormous.

GMA Network reported that based on the Philippine-based Kato Repro Biotech Center, IVF costs around P200,000.

As for getting a sperm donor in the US, a sperm bank in California charges $1,000 or around P50,000.

This means that Ice and Liza might spend approximately P250,000 for the entire process.

Ice told GMA Network that one of the reasons she quit her government post was so that she could focus once again on his showbiz career and be able to afford the IVF procedure.

“I'm not getting any younger, pangarap namin ng asawa ko since we got married is to have another kid. Siyempre, alam naman natin na we cannot conceive nang normal. It takes money to do that. So if I stay in government, we won't be able to do that,” he explained.

The former child star tied the knot with Liza on December 8, 2014 in California, USA. As for Liza, she has a child named Amara with her former partner.
