A woman who has been in a comatose state for 14 years got pregnant and recently gave birth to a baby boy on December 29 at a nursing facility located in Phoenix, Arizona, called Hacienda Del Sol care center.
KAMI learned that the woman belongs to a Native American tribe named San Carlos Apache Tribe.
To find the assailant, the police have taken DNA samples from the male employees at the care center to compare it with the DNA of the baby.
"The family obviously is outraged, traumatized and in shock by the abuse and neglect of their daughter at Hacienda Healthcare,” the lawyer of the woman’s family stated, according to ABS-CBN News.
The reported added that the facility’s CEO resigned because of what happened to the woman.
