- The store owner is now asking that an autopsy be done to the girl in order to learn the cause of her death
A 9-year-old girl named Princess passed away before the start of 2019.
KAMI learned that her family alleged that she died because of the candies she bought from the sari-sari store of their neighbor.
According to the mother’s interview with News 5, she told Princess to buy mineral water from the store on December 30, 2018.
She also bought two pieces of candy when she went to the store. Later on, she complained of severe headache and died after.
The neighbor admitted that she sold candies to Princess. However, she said that her own kids and other people have also bought those candies from her and nothing happened to them.
She added that the candy will expire in 2020.
The store also owner urged the family to make Princess undergo autopsy to learn the cause of her death. However, the family did not want autopsy to be done to the child.
Here is the video report from News 5:
Netizens hoped that an autopsy will be done in order to find out the truth:
“Bakit ayaw ipa autopsy? Tapos gusto ng hustisya?”
“The best way tlaga is ipa autopsy yung bata..para malaman kung ano tlga kinamatay.”
“Wala pa naman confirmation kung sa candy nga ang cause nang pagkamatay.”
“Sana po ipa autopsy yung bangkay para sa peace of mind ng family nung bata at pati na rin po nung nagtinda ng candies”
