ABS-CBN & GMA celebs react to Carla Abellana’s grief over the death of her dog

- There were also artists from ABS-CBN who reacted to the mourning of Carla

Kapuso actress Carla Abellana gained a lot of reactions from her fellow celebrities after posting about the death of her pet dog named “Sunny.”

KAMI learned that the promising actress uploaded a photo of her on December 13 while weeping just beside a lifeless “bestfriend.”

Before the painful loss, Carla was able to ask for help from her followers because she had to take Sunny to an animal hospital due to several complications.

She sadly expressed that her pet just lost his appetite and energy that was why he could barely walk or get up.

“Dear friends, family, relatives, loved ones, fans and followers... Please help me pray for my Sunny who is currently confined for multiple illnesses,” the actress wrote in her Instagram post.

However, after few days of suffering illnesses, the pet dog just stopped breathing which caused Carla to grieve even more.

“My heart is broken. My Sunny is gone,” she quipped.

In the comment section of her post, a lot of celebrities even from the other network showed sympathy to the actress whose love for pets is evidently unwavering.

Kapuso artists such as Gabbi Garcia, Lovi Poe, Mika dela Cruz, Janine Gutierrez, Iya Villania, and several other showbiz personalities expressed their apologies for Carla’s loss.

Veteran actress Sheena Halili even shared that Carla was the one who comforted her when her pet “Pepper” died thus she knows what the celebrity is going through.

She also tried to ease the heavy feelings of her friend by saying that Sunny will already see her pet in heaven.

"Ikaw nagpalakas sa 'kin nung nawala si Pepper. Alam ko nararamdaman mo ngayon... Magkikita na sila ni Pepper ko sa heaven,” Sheena wrote.

Aside from the reactions of Kapuso stars, a lot of ABS-CBN talents also set aside the network rivalry and also mourned for the death of Carla’s pet.

Arci Munoz, Agot Isidro, Kathryn Bernardo, Vhong Navarro, and Gretchen Fullido gave their virtual hugs and sincere prayers for the GMA-7 actress.

Award-winning celebrities Jolina Magdangal and John Arcilla also said that it is an emotional loss and they understand what Carla is feeling.

"I really know how it feels. May Sunny rest in the rainbow bridge," John wrote.
