‘Eat Bulaga’ recalls days in ABS-CBN as it conducts first live show in new studio

Kapuso noontime program “Eat Bulaga” hosted its very first live show in its new home which is the “APT Studios” on December 8.
KAMI learned that the longest-running show left the Broadway Centrum after 23 years to start a new journey in Cainta, Rizal.
The talented hosts of the program prepared an almost 30-minute production number to welcome their viewers with a bang.
Baeby Baste delivered his acapella version of the “Eat Bulaga” theme song which drew a loud cheer from the audience.
The logos used by the show in its 40 years of existence were flashed on the big screen as the Hype Kids and Ryza Mae Dizon were doing their performance.
The much-awaited collaboration of Aldub in one dance number also amused the studio viewers especially when they were later on joined by Ruby Rodriguez, Pia Guanio, Pauleen Luna, Luanne Dy, Maureen Wroblewitz, and Allan K.

After the lively dance numbers, the show’s stars looked back to their past homes or studios when the program was still in ABS-CBN and RPN-9.
It can be remembered that “Eat Bulaga” became one of the entertainment shows of the Kapamilya network in 1989 before it transferred to its rival 6 years after.
Meanwhile, the show’s main hosts – Tito, Vic, and Joey - initiated a tour to their dressing room and they eventually joined the other celebrities on stage in singing the theme song.
"Tuloy po kayo sa bagong tahanan ng isang libo't isang tuwa,” Tito Sotto expressed.
