Magulang ng dating Kapuso Actor na si Hiro Peralta, arestado dahil sa illegal na droga
- Hiro Peralta's parents got arrested because of being involved with illegal drugs in Novaliches, Quezon City on November 20
- The former actor's father, Engelbert Peralta and his mother, Jean Peralta are both involved along with a man named Ronnie Telan
- It was discovered that Engelbert is part of the drug watch list in their place and already got arrested in 2015 for the same reason

Engelbert and Jean Peralta, the parents of the former Kapuso actor, Hiro Peralta got arrested in a buy-bust operation in Bagbag Novaliches, Quezon City, on Tuesday, November 20.
The police were able to recover 19 sachets of suspected drugs from the two. According to GMA News, police operatives bought 500 pesos worth of suspected shabu from Engelbert.
Engelbert gave the money to his wife, Jean, that made her involved in the case.
It was discovered that the father of Hiro was already arrested back in 2015 because of illegal drugs and he's also part of the drug watch list in Barangay Bagbag.
Thus, Jean denies that they sell illegal drugs, according to her she was just playing Bingo and got involved.
"Wala nag bingo lang talaga, masama bang mag bingo? Pagka ikaw ba puro ka problema nag iisip ka, syempre gusto mo lang naman mag ano eh, magsaya kahit paano sa halagang dalawang daan gusto mo lang mag bingo. Tapos pag labas mo ng bingohan ganun nga nagyari," Jean complained.
"Hindi po ako gumagamit. Yung asawa ko po paminsan minsan lang yan, mahilig lang pong mag bingo," she added.
The man they're with who was also arrested, Ronnie, refused that he is using illegal drugs.
"Nag paparenta lang ako ng sasakyan, Ronnie said.
When asked if he sells drugs, he answered: "hindi po".
The three suspects face criminal charges based on violations of provisions under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, disobedience and resisting arrest.
