Robin Padilla strongly expressed his objection with CHED's order removing Filipino subject in college.
He said that if this is what would really happen, the equality and harmony among Filipinos would no longer be possible.
He also said that the Filipino subject abolishment is a modern way of colonization where there are tyrants who refuse to let us embrace our own identity and practices as Filipinos.
Robin is truly saddened about this matter and for him, it is a way of forgetting and wasting all the sacrifices of our national heroes who fought for our culture including our language.
Binoe emphasized how important for the Filipinos to possess a language because it is who we are as an individual. He also added that it is a treasure that we should always be proud of.
He also said that using other languages is not a problem because it's a form of learning but completely disregarding our own will never be okay.
