Maja Salvador finally breaks silence on alleged ‘tampo’ issue with Ang Probinsyano

Kapamilya actress Maja Salvador bravely spoke up regarding the hard feelings or “tampo” issue with the number one primetime teleserye, “Ang Probinsyano.”
KAMI learned that the promising actress became part of the show as SPO1 Glenda Corpuz but was later on not seen in action.
Even during the third anniversary reunion of the teleserye’s cast, Maja was not seen in the occasion and also did not participate in the special production number in ASAP.
Netizens started to question the actress’ absence in the said event and even used the hashtag, “#NasaanSiMaja” to show disappointment.
This also strengthened the speculations that there is really some bad blood between the Wildflower star and the much-talked-about drama series.
Recently, Maja explained the true reason why she was not present during the production number in the Sunday noontime show.
She expressed that she was really not scheduled to perform in ASAP during that time for “Ang Probinsyano” because of prior commitments.
"Ang totoo nun, wala akong ASAP that Sunday,” she quipped.
"Naglambing yung ASAP kung pwede gawin ko na rin yung opening kasi opening tapos saka yung segment. Then after nun, ang dami na naming ganap. Nabuo na rin ng Probinsyano lahat,” she added.
As to the reason why she also did not attend the party during the night, Maja pointed out that she was on a 5-hour meeting which ended at twelve o’clock midnight.
She clarified that there is no tension or disdain between her and the teleserye as opposed to other netizens’ claims.
"May party sila pero may meeting ako ng 7. Natapos ako ng mga 12,” the actress explained.
"But I have nothing against the unit [Dreamscape] and Probinsyano. Hindi lang nag-swak sa schedule,” she concluded.
Maja admitted that she is willing to come back to “Ang Probinsyano” only if the schedule would allow her.

Maja, or Maja Ross Andres Salvador in real life, was born on October 5, 1988. She already won several Best Actress awards in Golden Laurel Awards 2018, 16th Gawad Tanglaw Awards, and 29th PMPC Star Awards for TV.
