Janice and Gabby had a teenage romance back then and they first starred together in the 1982 film called Puppy Love. Janice used to call him “fatso” while he called her “amor.”

Last year, after more than 25 years, they reunited onscreen as they starred in an episode of Magpakailanman on GMA Network. They portrayed real-life couple Ariel Cruz and Julieta Manuel.
