Inspiring story of Raymond Quintinita, graduating student from The University of Manila and took up Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management (HRM).
KAMI learned that Raymond has to work while studying in order to help his mother pay his tuition fee.
According to Raymond, her mother is a street vendor and he is very much aware of her struggles day in and day out.
"ang sakit makita na nakikipag habulan yung nanay at mga kapatid mo sa mga nang huhuli nang mga paninda nyo minsan diko maiwasan umiyak sobrang sakit na makita mo yng paninda nyu na inaagaw,natatapon,tinatapakan at kung minsan pa nahuhuli pa at dina naibabalik."
But Raymond continued to dream despite the trials and hardships in life. He wanted to help his mother so that she will be able to stop selling goods on the sidewalk.
"Pinangako ko sa sarili ko na balang araw maalis ko din sila mama at mga kapatid ko dito sa bangketa."
Luckily, after countless job applications and interviews, he was able to land a job as a fast food service crew.
His humble earnings helped his family a lot. He was able to pay for his tuition fee and bought new appliances for their home.
Raymond is about to graduate from college and will surely be able to provide more for his family once he land a decent job after graduation.
