Makeup artist and internet celebrity Raiza Contawi was bashed by fans of Nadine Lustre for giving her honest opinion about the Kapamilya star’s makeup line.
KAMI learned that Raiza has opened up on social media about her bashers.
“Originally, my caption for this was to invite you to watch my newest review about Lustrous by Nadine x BYS. That's it. Now, I'm still going to encourage you and I'll say something. If you've already seen the video, you probably know what's happening.
“As a beauty content creator, I review and tackle all things makeup with credibility and honesty. The trust of my viewers is what I matter the most. Everything that I say about a product or brand is based on experience and of course, on my standards of a quality product.
“For this collaboration, I have no personal attachments with Nadine nor BYS so I have NO reason to hate (to just say the cons) and I will not try to please (to just say the pros). With that, before you watch, I encourage you to do the same. Have an open mind. If you want to watch the video to see HOW the makeup really works, focus on the products. I'm also reminding everyone to avoid personal attacks towards Nadine.
“I don't hate anyone (I hate the word HATE) but I do appreciate those who appreciated the review,” she wrote.

Many netizens, including JaDine fans, expressed their support for Raiza and thanked her for the constructive criticism:
“I am a Jadine fan as well pero di ko magets bakit gigil na gigil kayo sa review. Nasa PR List si Ms. Raiza and obviously, the review follows. Di ka siguro fan ng make ups. Dahil if you like make-ups you would browse for reviews online. And FYI, she has reviewed a lot of products already - including the ones from Anne and Vice.”
“If you're a real fan of someone, wether it be a singer, actress or even your own friend, you'll do anything to help them to improve. Thats called being honest and mature. Thank you ate Raiza for always being 100% honest to us, regardless of the backlash you received.”
“I’m sorry but never did @raizacontawi say anything demeaning about Nadine- the person. She was reviewing products. Raiza was sent them items for review consideration. Why was she sent the products if the brand didn’t want a constructive review?”

Nadine launched her Lustrous makeup line a couple of days ago.
She described it as her baby, since every part and aspect of the collection was her idea, ABS-CBN News reports.
Her movie “Never Not Love You” will open on March 31, 2018.
