Singer Mark Bautista opened up about the abuse and assault that he wrote in his book “Beyond the Mark.”

KAMI learned that the assault was perpetrated by a distant cousin of Mark.

In an interview with Jessica Soho, Mark said that he was traumatized by his unfortunate experience at the age of about 6 or 7.

"I would consider it more of an assault.

"For the longest time, never ko 'yan napag-usapan even sa family ko, even sa mga kaibigan ko.

"Sabi ko, just be careful with the people that surround your kid.

"Kilalanin siguro yung mga taong pumapaligid sa mga anak niyo, kasi minsan it's beyond the parents' control or the kid's control.

"Talagang nasa tao iyan na dapat sana intindihin niyo yung effect niyan sa bata,” Mark told Jessica, according to PEP.ph.

“Beyond the Mark” has become controversial.

In the book, the singer admitted that he is bisexua1.

Although he was bashed by some netizens, others defended him and applauded him for his courage, openness and honesty.

KAMI agrees with Mark that all parents should be extra careful in who they allow their children to spend time with!
