PUSH talked to Lovi Poe about her marriage plans, living arrangements, and even plans to bear children with non-showbiz boyfriend Chris Johnson.
According to Lovi, settling down is still very far from her plans for the future.
"It's something na wala pa sa listahan naming dalawa. I'm human ang it gives me chills to even think about it but then again if it happens, it happens. Then good," said Lovi.
At 29 years old, Lovi is at the right age to get married. But she doesn't want to put pressure on herself.
"I don't think it's about being in the marrying age, it's about marrying the right person. I'll just relax and not think about it," the actress said.
She stressed that she still have a lot to accomplish for herself before she thinks of marriage.
"To marry someone, kailangan buo ka eh. Kailangan ikaw mismo. It's not about the other person, it goes both ways. It's still a journey that I have to go through. There's so many things that I want to do in my life and I can personally say that I'm not ready," said Lovi.
Despite things going well in their relationship, Lovi revealed that she's not living with Chris.
"We barely even see each other so how is that going to happen? Long distance na ang QC to Makati.
"You know if it happens, it happens. But in the future pa siguro if I choose to do it. But then now kasi my life is here near work and his life is there near work," said Lovi.
Another thing Lovi isn't ready for? Babies.
Lovi stressed that she's not the type to have a baby before marriage.
"Isa rin yan sa mga bagay na hindi pa ako ready ngayon. It's not in my head. I may be liberated but it's something that is not on my list because ang pagkakaroon naman ng baby is something na hindi dahil gusto mo lang eh, you have to make sure that your baby wants you back too when she or he is there," said Lovi.
Lovi Poe, or Lourdes Virginia Moran Poe, is the daughter of Filipino action star and icon Fernando Poe, Jr.
She is an award-winning dramatic actress under GMA Artist Center.
She received her first award in 2010. She won Best Actress in the Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival for the movie Mayohan.
She has also won the FAMAS Best Actress award for Sagrada Familia.
