KZ Tandingan has secured her spot as a regular contestant on the biggest singing competition on Chinese television.
After topping competition last week on her first episode, KZ landed sixth on her second appearance.
However, because of her impressive finish last week, her average score got her into the top three, just behind top contenders Huahua and Jessie J.
This qualified her a regular spot in the competition, which means Chinese audiences will be seeing more of KZ's impressive performances.
Rules of the show state that when a challenger reaches the Top 4, they became a regular contestant.
Not one to shy away from a challenge, KZ made a bold move on her second week in the competition.
Instead of singing an English song like last time, KZ chose to sing three Chinese songs in a beautiful medley that made the audience tear up.
According to PUSH, her management Cornerstone hopes she'll be able to connect more with Chinese audiences and establish a fanbase in China.
Singer 2018 pits professional singers from all over the world against each other.
Her competition include Jessie J from the UK, Tien Chong from Hong Kong, Angela Chang from Taiwan, Li Xiaodong, Wang Feng, James Li and Juno Su from China.
KZ can stay until the finale in April if she doesn't get eliminated by the public through the weekly voting.
