Seasoned Director Mario J. Delos Reyes passes away due to heart attack.
His sudden demise happened 10pm of January 27 at a party in Dipolog City.
ABS-CBN Entertainment correspondent MJ Felipe tweeted about the incident which KAMI learned from Push.
Jun Rufino, Direk Mario's manager gave an official statement about the director's sudden death.
Direk Mario is a well-known director for his remarkable masterpieces.
Some of these are the awar-winning films such as the inspirational film, 'Magnifico' starring Jiro Manio, 'Naglalayag' starring Nora Aunor, Aleck Bovick and Yul Servo.
He is also known for the blockbuster movies such as 'A love story' starring Angelica Panganiban, Aga Muhlach and Maricel Soriano
His latest project was 'The Unmarried wife' last 2016 which stars Angelica Panganiban, Dingdong Dantes and Paolo Avelino.
