Before Jinkee Pacquiao's 39th birthday celebration, Senator Manny Pacquiao makes unexpected revelation about his love life.

On January 12, Friday, Manny revealed something about his past relationship during a guesting on PTV-4, which Abante reported.

Viewers of the show was surprised about his revelation.

The senator narrates that he was engaged to another woman and they were already planning the date of their wedding.

He was only 19 years old when he got engaged and the woman was also from General Santos.

According to Manny, the woman was one of the richest in GenSan.

"Bago ko nakilala si Jinkee, engaged na ako sa ibang babae. Pinaplano na namin ang date ng kasal namin."

He met the woman through his friend Buboy Fernandez who happens to be his trainer now.

At that time, Buboy works at his ex-girlfriend's family.

"Pero dumating ang time ng engaged na kami, hindi ko akalain na dumating na biglang bumaligtad, nagkaaway kami, inaway niya ako, doon ako na-discou­rage. Nagselos siya sa kapatid ko. Kasi bihira kami magkita ng kapatid kong babae, naka­akbay ako sa kapatid ko nagpasyal kami sa mall. Nakita kami ng auntie ng GF ko at nagsumbong."

However, they had a major fight that ended with his ex-girlfriend scratching him.

"Mula noon na-turn-off ko… umiyak ako para akong babae… sabi ko kapatid ko, nagalit naman siya," he explained.

His ex-girlfriend apologized through his friend Buboy and did not speak with Manny directly.

"Hindi ko napatawad, wala naman akong kasalanan. Dapat siya ang pumunta sa bahay."

It was Jinkee's uncle who introduced Manny to her, which happens to be the latter's friend.

Both Jinkee and Manny had a mutual understanding that blossomed into a beautiful relationship.

Filipino professional boxer and politician Manny Pacquiao was formally proclaimed as part of the Philippine Senate last May 19, 2016.

He was declared as "Fighter of the Decade" for the 2000s by the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA), WBC, and WBO.

He is married to Jinkee Pacquiao and they have five children, Emmanuel Jr., Michael Stephen, Mary Divine Grace, Queen Elizabeth and Israel.
