Sharon Cuneta’s elegant family home, complete with an elevator and a two-storey guest house, proves this Mega is indeed a Star

-Sharon Cuneta is undoubtedly one of the most bankable celebrities in the Philippine entertainment industry. So it’s only understandable that she owns a lot of properties within the metro alone.

-One of these is her Mandaluyong abode, dubbed by friends and colleagues as “The Fortress”, for its high-walled fence surrounding the property, and the vastness and grandeur of the interiors.

-Sharon sure loves being a great host and inviting friends and family over, as evidenced by her home’s lived-in feel, and the extra seatings and living areas.

Sharon Cuneta’s home is an epitome of elegance, evident in most of the furnitures that have been flown-in from different parts of the world, as well as the many art pieces that line the walls from renowned world artists..

One of the things you’ll instantly notice upon entering her house is the grand staircase. It’s so grand, that it’s actually pretty hard to miss! It has a Victorian feel to it, transporting you back in time.

One thing that makes this house stand-out too, is that it has its own elevator!

The living areas, as well as the seating lounge by the pool, show how the family loves to welcome guests and host intimate gatherings every now and then.

The 12-seater dining area was bought all the way from Paris, and it’s red-orange hue provides a pop of color to the predominantly wood-and-white theme of the dining area.

The kitchen is also a statement in itself. It even has its own dumbwaiter. If you look closely at the photo, it’s by the microwave oven - a dumbwaiter is like a small elevator that’s used to carry and transport food and drinks through different floors.

Fronting the pool, and just by the cozy outdoor lounge, is the two-storey guest house.

A self-confessed homebody, the Mega Star prefers to stay at home with her kids in her downtime, and spend rest days just watching movies or reading a book.

And we can understand that, because really, if we had a house as beautifully curated as this, who would want to go out anyway?
